In the celebrity world, nothing is done by half measures. Hip-hop artist Kanye West asked for reality star Kim Kardashian’s hand in marriage at San Francisco’s AT&T Park. The arena, home to the Giants, would usually cost a whopping $200,000 to hire out but West was given complimentary use of the grounds to host the extravagant marriage proposal. West got down on one knee in front of friends whilst a spectacular 50-piece orchestra performed an arrangement of Lana Del Ray’s Young and Beautiful followed by Keri Hilson’s Knock You Down, a track that features a guest verse by West. The event also included fireworks and a proposal on the screen which read "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" Could Kim say no to all of that as well as a platinum diamond ring? Not in a million years. The flawless 15-carat diamond engagement ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, was placed on Kim’s ring finger on her 33rd birthday – a birthday she’ll never forget!
