Wed in the City : City Wedding Inspiration

When we look through the wedding magazines and browse the wedding blogs, we see the beautiful countryside and breathtaking beaches. But with over 90% of UK citizens living in cities, why dont we see more city weddings? Weve put together some of our favourite urban weddings that will change your mind about crossing out any city venues.

This beautiful and eclectic music inspired wedding was held at the Islington Metalworks in London. Offering its own industrial magnificence, this venue was well and truly the most amazing venue for an eccentric theme based around the couples favourite music.

Life is fruitful

wedding at Fruit, Hull

Back to an old warehouse, but this time in Hull at the venue

Fruit

The industrial setting surprisingly offers a relaxed space that can be entirely tailored to the couple. This couple had the main space decorated with lights and lots of orange accessories. They even had space in the back room for a nacho table!

Lastly, a venue thats often visited as much as your own home - your local pub. This city pub location (The Peasant in Clerkenwell) really offered a relaxed and comfortable setting for a good ol knees up. Best thing about a pub wedding? Its already kitted out and we cant forget the great beer. What do you think about a city wedding? Do you like the industrial vibe or would you prefer a countryside occasion?
