Who can purchase from us?
To purchase from us you must be over 18 and resident in the United Kingdom. We can ship to certain countries outside the United Kingdom on request.
How your contract with us is formed
Once you have completed compiling your order, you will be asked to confirm that it is correct. If it is not correct, you can revisit your order and correct the mistakes before confirming and submitting your order to us. It is your responsibility to ensure that your order is correct before submitting it to us. If you have any problems with your order, please contact email@example.com. Please print out and keep your order form for reference.
When you submit your order, you are offering to buy the goods at the price set out in the order.
We will acknowledge receipt of your order by email (or by post, if appropriate). This is not an acceptance of your order. The contract between us is not formed until we confirm that we have accepted your order. Incomplete orders will be put on hold until all missing information is submitted. Delivery time may consequently be delayed.
If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0292 144 4971 immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. We are unable to rectify mistakes after this time, although you still have the right to cancel described below.
Prices are checked regularly. However, if we find the price has changed when we receive your order we will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed.
The prices indicated on our website include all taxes, including vat, which may be payable in respect of the goods. If you are ordering from a country outside of the EU you are exempt from paying vat in which case the vat amount will be automatically removed during the checkout payment process.
All payments must be made at the time of placing the order by Switch/Maestro, Solo, Mastercard, Visa, Delta and Visa Electron credit cards. If we are unable to accept your order for any reason then we will, at our option, either not debit your credit card or refund any money paid by you in respect of that order. We will not dispatch the goods until we receive payment in full.
Our website is designed to deliver the best possible secure on-line shopping experience to our customers, and features safe and encrypted transactions powered by sage pay and certified by Verisign.
We aim to deliver goods to you within the time indicated by us in our acceptance but we cannot give an exact delivery date. We aim to inform you within 7 days of placing your order if it is likely that we will experience any delay with your order.
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct on the order form as a re-delivery fee will be payable for items that are not correctly addressed.
Orders sent to a work address or different from the billing address are done so at the customers own risk as deliveries can be accepted by work colleges or associates and are relied upon to pass the parcel to the addressee.
We will arrange for delivery of the goods by royal mail’s special delivery. Postage and packing will be payable as set out below:
- Standard delivery - free
- International special delivery £15.00
Any delay in delivery
If we have not delivered the goods by the date given in our acceptance or any other date that we have agreed with you then you may not cancel the order unless and until you have given us 14 days’ written notice requiring the delivery to be made and we have not fulfilled the delivery within that period.
We will not be held liable for late delivery of goods caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Before signing for your package, please ensure that it is not ruptured or damaged. We cannot be held responsible for theft or loss once you have signed for your package.
We will supply goods that will remain free from defects in materials or caused by workmanship for a period of 12 months (or longer if required by law) from the date of delivery.
You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must contact us as soon as possible at email@example.com or call 0292 144 4971 and we will arrange for their return, either to us or the manufacturer (at our option), at no cost to you. If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will refund the price paid by you. If you would prefer repair or replacement of the goods please contact us and we will accommodate you where this is reasonably practicable. Please do not ship your goods to us without prior authorisation.
This warranty does not cover expenses incurred due to lack of proper care for the products which we supply. Please see our caring for platinum page for more information.
The product warranty becomes void if the goods are altered or changed in anyway from the original supplied item unless the alteration has been carried out by ourselves.
These terms and conditions do not exclude our liability (if any) to you for:
- personal injury or death resulting from our negligence;
- any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude or to attempt to exclude our liability.
We are only liable to you for losses which you suffer as a result of a breach of these terms and conditions by us. We are not responsible to you for any losses which you may incur which were not a foreseeable consequence of us breaching these terms and conditions, for example if you and we could not have contemplated those losses before or when we enter into a contract. Our liability to you shall not in any circumstances include any business losses that you may incur, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits or business interruption.

Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer (i.e. You are not purchasing either wholly or in part for your business or you are not a business) you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract (other than for personalised products) and receive a refund from us. You must inform us in writing if you wish to cancel within 28days, starting on the day after the goods are delivered to you.
If you choose to cancel then you must return the goods to us at your cost and risk (unless the return is due to an oversight on our part) and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during the return journey. You must ensure that you take reasonable care of the goods. If you fail to assume the costs of returning the items we will make an additional charge to you for the costs we incur.
If you have not returned the goods within 28 days of cancellation or when requested by us to do so, whichever occurs first, we can collect the goods from you at your cost.

We will resize or replace any ring it has accidentally mis-sized. It is the customers’ responsibility to order the correct finger size. We can alter a ring’s size, but a charge may be made at the following rates:
- Plain rings: £14.50
- Others: £25.00
A delivery charge of £9.99 will apply if the order is to be shipped outside of the UK. You must contact us within 28 days of initial delivery if you wish any ring to be resized. Please contact us before returning a ring to us for resizing. Resized items are not refundable.
Interest free credit - 28 day guaranteed refund policy and exchanges
- An order can be returned for a refund when the IFC option is used. The deposited will be refunded and the IFC agreement will be cancelled.
- In the event of two items being purchased and one item being returned the original IFC agreement will need to be cancelled and the deposit refunded. A new agreement will need to be made with the relevant deposit. Important - The new agreement value must be over £995.00 to qualify for the 12 months interest free credit. Values below this amount will need to paid in full by the customer.
- Orders being returned to exchange for higher value goods will have the original agreement values adjusted to correspond to the new higher value. Please contact customer support if you require any assistance or information regarding the return of orders using the interest free credit option, we are here to help.
Other information of which you need to be aware
We have made this website available to you for your own personal non-commercial use. We may modify, withdraw or deny access to this website at any time.
This website and all the materials contained in it are protected by copyright and are the sole property of platinum ring company. Materials include, but are not limited to, imagery, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics and documents on the website, as well as product descriptions and other text.
You may not copy, redistribute, republish or otherwise make the materials on this website available to anyone else without our consent in writing.
The imagery from this website is digitally watermarked and is routinely tracked online.
If you wish to use an image from our website you must contact our customer support department at firstname.lastname@example.org in order to obtain permission. Anybody found using our imagery without permission will be prosecuted.
We may not necessarily keep a copy of these terms and conditions and your order. We advise you to print a copy of them for your information in the future.
The contract and all communications between us will be conducted in the english language.
The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity and all aspects whatsoever of these terms and conditions or of any term of these terms and conditions will be governed by the law of England and Wales.
The english and welsh courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or use of the website.
