One of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year so far took place only a few weeks ago when JLS’s Marvin Humes and the Saturday’s singer Rochelle Wiseman exchanged platinum wedding rings. The couple tied the knot at Blenheim Palace in Oxford as you may expect when two pop stars marry the event was packed with celebrities from Harry Styles, Tulisa, Reggie Yates and Wretch 32, as well as the stars band mates of course. Una, Frankie, Molly and Vanessa were Rochelle’s bridesmaids while Ortise, JB and Aston were Marvin’s ushers.
The wedding ceremony was shared with 400 guests in total, and the dress code was black and white, another theme was certainly extravagance as Rochelle had two dresses, one for the night time and one for the ceremony and Marvin had two platinum wedding rings – one plain ring for every day and one diamond and platinum wedding ring for special occasions.
More recently rumours are circulating that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were married in secret in a ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming – this is where Justin proposed to Jessica almost a year ago. The wedding is said to have taken place on a lavish private estate and all of the guests are believed to have stayed at the luxury Four Seasons hotel. I’m sure this will be confirmed or denied within the coming weeks.
As for celebrity platinum engagement rings, the biggest news is, of course, the confirmed engagement of Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston. The ring was an eight carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring, Justin popped the big question on his 41st birthday whilst visiting Jennifer on set in North Carolina. Surprisingly Justin has also been spotted wearing a ring that is believed to be an engagement ring – he seems to be following the new ‘management’ fashion. The couple have been dating for just over a year, this, of course, won’t be Jennifer’s first marriage - she famously married Brad Pitt back in 2000, the marriage lasted 5 years.
