So you’ve got the dress, booked the venue and food, arranged the flowers, and the bridesmaids have tried their dresses on. It’s now time to think about those special small touches to make your day complete, before you exchange those platinum wedding rings.

Of course, you know you’ll have to create and send invites, but there is so much more to wedding stationery. There should be an invite, a RSVP card, and a save the date card; as well as a thank you card to send after the event. A coherent design through all of these is not only chic, but it is likely to be more cost effective too!

Have you decided on your table names and how you are going to display the seating chart? Well, what about the place cards on the tables? How will they appear? We love the idea of getting creative with these. Names could be written on paper butterflies and perched on the edge of glasses; or you could attach luggage tags to favours on each place setting or maybe even use scrabble tiles. It’s up to you! Let your imagination run wild.

Let’s face it – we all like attending weddings because it is an excuse to get dressed up, have a drink and a dance. Oh yes, and of course, celebrate the couple’s love. Keep your guests sweet after a long day by providing them with their very own dancing shoes. A basket of flip flops in a variety of sizes means they can kick off their heels and boogie the night away.
Get Social
Most people these days use social media of some kind. And it is likely they may take photos of your wedding and post them online. Make sure you don’t miss a snap by creating a custom hashtag. Display this clearly for your guests and at the end of the day you shouldn’t miss a pic.
Happy Tear
Okay, so this is a little presumptuous that your guests will cry, but it is best to be prepared just in case. Provide your wedding guests with a selection of vintage handkerchiefs at the entrance to the ceremony. Someone always forgets one and will be eternally grateful. No one wants to mess up their makeup.
Build Memories
Instead of the classic guest book, build memories by asking your guests to sign messages on Jenga pieces with a sharpie. This kitsch idea is sure to be a people pleaser, and every time you play the game you’ll be reminded of the best day of your life.
Make Your Mark
If Jenga isn’t for you, have your guests leave a unique impression that could be used as wall art in your home. All you need is a large piece of card, some ink, and a pack of wet wipes so your guests can clean their hands afterwards. You can make some great creative designs!
