Top 10 Valentines Day Proposals - Part 1

Platinum wedding rings might be top of your list if you proposed on Valentine’s Day. After Christmas and New Year, Valentine’s Day is probably the most popular day of the year to get married or to pop the question to your other half.  Here are some romantic and unusual proposals sent in by customers who popped the question on Valentine’s Day this year. Number 10 – One customer asked his girlfriend on the big screen at a major Rugby League event. This isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it’s a very public way of letting the women you love know how much you want her to be your wife in front of thousands.

Number 9 – on our top 10 countdown is Number 9 – on our top 10 countdown is from a young man in Essex, who created a treasure hunt around the house and garden until his girlfriend finally came across the ring hanging on the Rose bush outside. Very romantic!

Number 8 – Another customer took his partner to a Country park, with a blanket, a bottle of wine and candles, they wrapped up warm and he popped the question, needless to say she said yes and they will soon be looking for their platinum wedding rings.

Number 7 – One very inventive customer sent a single red rose every day starting on February the 3rd - when it got to Valentine’s Day; there was one more to complete the dozen. He used this final rose as the platinum engagement rings delivery rose– like a scene from an old romantic film; this man got a definite yes! In a similar vain to number 6, this story involved a fortune cookie being sent over a number of days leading up to Valentine’s Day. The original messages were teased out with tweezers and personal versions inserted with messages about moments the couple had shared. The final one said – ‘Will you marry me!’ and now they are choosing their platinum wedding rings.
